Amanita Obscura was not always called thus, it began as Fungi Nerd UK, a humble offering to my endless fascination with the strange, the spored, and the silent kingdom beneath our feet. For over six years I have walked among the mushrooms, learning their shapes, scents, and secrets, and their hold on me has only deepened.

But my path is twofold. Alongside the study of mycology beats the pulse of magick, folk magick and the old lore of the British Isles, steeped in earth and whispering with spirits. For the past two years I have guided others in workshops on mushroom identification and the weaving of these ancient beings into spellcraft.

Now, under the banner of Amanita Obscura, I walk further into the unknown, seeking the hidden correspondences, using the Doctrine of Signatures, and listening to the voices of each species through spirit work and divination. The knowledge of mushrooms in magick is scarce, but the forest speaks to those who listen.
